Whelgar's Excavation Site
[34, 41]lies east of Menethil Harbor and southwest of Dun Modr in the Wetlands. Once a peaceful dwarven digsite, it has been taken over by mottled raptors. A small group of dwarves are now trapped on a ridge overlooking the dig site.

The entire site, including the ridge and cave, have been taken over by Paleolithic Elementals and Living Fossils, as well as having Sarltooth as one of the undead fossils and now a rare spawn. Prospector Whelgar himself has abandoned the site for a camp just off the main road, complete with a flight path.[1]
