The wicker golems are constructs created by the Heartsbane Coven from dead objects such as wood and twigs, flesh, and bones,[1] and animated by ancient drust death magic.[2] They are powered by souls drained from human victims[3] or from the spirits of ancient drust. Strong charms in the hearts of the servitors anchor their spirits.[4] The souls are still aware while they are inside the golems.[5] The witches of the Coven use charms to control the wicker golems.[6] It is hard to tell where the bone parts of a wicker creature end and the wood parts begin.[7]
