An August Celestial is a spiritual being of great power that protects aspects of Pandaria.
After Lei Shen imprisoned the White Tiger, the other celestials came to the aid of the pandaren in their war against the mogu. Yet like Xuen, they all succumbed to the Thunder King. Thereafter, Lei Shen prohibited worship of the celestials on pain of death. The pandaren lost many of their ties to the Wild Gods, but not all. A few fearless slaves, in secret, carried on the teachings of the celestials.[1]

- Chi-Ji the Red Crane - Associated with the Valley of the Four Winds[2] and the Krasarang Wilds.[3]
- Niuzao the Black Ox (possible also "the Black Yak") - Associated with Townlong Steppes.[4]
- Xuen the White Tiger - Associated with Kun-Lai Summit.[2]
- Yu'lon the Jade Serpent - Associated with the Jade Forest.[2]
