Wretched Zombies were very weak undead monsters in the Forsaken starting area, north of Deathknell prior to patch 3.3.0. They were replaced by Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Factiongfx/faction_tip_link.json' not found. Wretched Ghoul to avoid confusion with the similar-in-appearance Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Factiongfx/faction_tip_link.json' not found. Mindless Zombie.

They were the objective of 
[2] The Mindless Ones. The quest still exists; however, the requirement for killing this mob has been replaced by the Wretched Ghoul.
